The daughter of musicians, and clearly a musician herself, Anne Marie discovered her love of cello at age 10. Now at age 14 she studies with Annie Camp, the Orchestra Director of Darlington School in Rome, GA. Alongside her weekly lessons, Anne Marie is a regular in the game of learning through Feldenkrais Method and she attends every Master Class and summer study program she can.
She is an active member of Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Youth Orchestra and of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Orchestra. As a solo performer, Anne Marie has played at many local events and venues, including a gallery opening for The Chernobyl Children's Project, multiple gallery openings for area artists, at annual community memorial services for Erlanger Hospital, a fund raiser for Christ Church Episcopal Music Scholarship and at many area churches. Anne Marie is a recipient of a study grant from the Performing Arts League of Chattanooga. Also, as an active TN 4-H member she received top middle school honors for her work in cello where she was awarded first place in Performing Arts Portfolio and Premier Exhibitor in Performing Arts. Anne Marie is also a member of Chattanooga's SoundCorps. *This website was created as part of my 4H portfolio. |
